In 2008 Bob starts his 21st year teaching his animation voice-over workshop in Los Angeles. The class meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00PM-10:00PM at Voicetrax/West, which is at 12215 Ventura Blvd., #205 in Studio City (next to Chin Chin's). The class size is limited to 8 students per class. The price is $750.00 for 8 weeks, with a $50.00 non refundable deposit needed to hold your spot. The class covers mic and audition technique, how to create and sustain your own characters, the "do's and don't's" of demos, the "in's and out's" of the business of the business, agent/client relationships, and much much more. All of your work, including Bob's direction, is recorded. Students will have the opportunity to work on at least twenty different characters. Bob teaches 3 classes a year in January, April, and August. Click here for information on Bob's weekend voice-over seminars outside of the Los Angeles area. Private coaching $200 per hour.

Lynn Wissner Bob, Hi Bob, I want to thank you again for a fabulous class! I loved the way you stretched each one of us towards a better performance. I learned soooooo much from that! Thank you, Thank you! Linda Thank you so much for working so hard with all of us this weekend. I have not had the experience of an instructor being in the booth with me, giving me direction and watching me so closely. Very challenging and rewarding. You (got) performances out of us that we had no idea we were capable of. Thank you! Cheryl What a great class!! You are a Best, Elise Hey Bob, I just wanted to thank you for a great time at the class this past weekend. It was an honor to meet you and have you listen to my work on mic, have you give me feedback, etc. My brothers and I were practically raised in front of a television watching Looney Tunes (Thanks Ma!) and taking a class from you was like getting guitar lessons from Eddie Van Halen (without the hard-core boozing). It was great to watch you work with the other students, listening to their first read then give direction until they read it a completely different way. I learned an incredible amount of useful information this weekend and am looking forward to pursuing voice-over as a career. Kevin Bob, Once again I wanted to say thanks! I enjoyed not only your direction but the energy in general that the class has. After working 8 or 9 hours I am tired but I always left the class energized. I plan on working hard at this craft and perhaps one day we will work together on something. Sincerely, David A. Bob, I wish I was able to express verbally just how much your seminar this past weekend meant to me. I am determined as ever to reach my goal of working as a professional animation voice talent, if for no other reason then for the fact that the section where I got to go up and read copy was the most fun I've had in my life, and I'm DETERMINED to do it again, only THIS time get PAID for it In essence, I'm not sure there are words that can describe the value that your seminar will no doubt prove to have in the course of my career. But I hope you will both believe my sincerity and understand how much I wish to express when I simply say... Thank you, Bob. Sincerely, Gabe Bob! Meeting you and most of all studying under your direction for one evening was a big boost to my confidence and aspiration to do VO. I deeply appreciate the truth-that this is a real life profession, that takes dedicated hard work, time, practice, failure, growth. But I also see that I am doing the right thing for me...doing something at 57 that I've always wanted to do. This IS fun. Thank you! Dick

I wanted to thank you for having invited Bob Bergen to teach a class at Voice One. I really enjoyed every moment and felt like I got so much more out of the experience than I anticipated I would. I hope that he can return in the future so that more students can benefit from his talent, experience, enthusiasm, creative and encouraging teaching style. A Million Thanks, Greta
Just wanted to say hi and to tell you that after buggin this video game company for five months, they auditioned me for seven characters. They were very impressed so now I'm going to be their regular auditionee! I owe part of this to you because you kept stressing underlying emotions and story telling/acting in your class. It was pretty much what I did anyway until some of the classes almost brainwashed me into being "technical." Take care dude, you're my voice inspiration, Nick (from your April 2004 San Francisco weekend animation seminar)
